AI-based software for advanced mineral phase identification of samples

The AI-based Advanced Mineral Phase Sample Identification software enables automatic segmentation and identification of grains and mineral phases in a TIMA project sample. Using a series of convolutional neural networks (Transformer, U-Net and ResNet), the software automatically performs the segmentation and classification of the TIMA project data and allows the user to view and re-analyze the results with different analysis parameters if required.
