Cyber security

Main research areas

  • Security of traffic/operational technologies and industrial networks (anomaly detection, critical infrastructure protection, IT/OT convergence, (D)DoS issues, fuzzing, penetration testing, hazard and risk analysis, security audit and compliance, prototyping and development of security modules).
  • Cryptographic protection of data and privacy (data encryption, ensuring data authenticity and integrity, user privacy protection, design and implementation of cryptographic algorithms on a wide range of devices (from microcontrollers to FPGAs), their testing, security audits and legal compliance).
  • Quantum and post-quantum cryptography, protection of systems against quantum attacks.
  • Security of optical fiber networks (analysis of networks from the point of view of the possibility of information leakage by optical fiber, testing of active and passive optical fiber components and elements, protection of fiber infrastructure, measurement and analysis of crosstalk).
