Defectoscopy of painted parts using automatic adaptation of neural networks

Description

The objective of the project is research and development of a prototype camera system with a commercial designation “Konica-Eye” and it pilot deployment, which will monitor the quality of painted parts in manufacturing companies. The main applicants are Konica Minolta Business Solutions Czech (an international supplier of industrial solutions with an R&D branch in Brno), Brno University of Technology and NC LINE (a major Czech company for painting metal parts and surface treatment of materials). The resulting prototype will be a combination of advanced artificial intelligence algorithms, advanced computer vision tools, hardware for massively parallel computations, lighting technology and camera systems. The prototype will be deployed in NC LINE and HAJDIK.
