Master of Science in Cybersecurity proCyber

The Professional Training Programme in Cyber Security (ProCyber) will be launched in 2025 with the aim of deepening the knowledge and increasing the expertise of staff, particularly in middle and senior management positions, in the field of cyber security. It aims to contribute to addressing the long-standing shortage of professionals in the field. It will provide graduates with qualifications for technical and managerial positions in the field of cybersecurity.
Field of Study
The study is interdisciplinary and combines technical and non-technical disciplines (hardware, software, law, economics). It focuses on real skills, practical hands-on training (Palo Alto, CISCO, quantum networks, 5G...) and the real environment in the Czech Republic (legislation, market environment).

Study Plan
The study is in the Czech language and is divided into 4 semesters (2 years), and proceeds as follows:
- Theory is taught at a distance through prepared study materials, e-learning, video-lectures and individual consultations.
- Practical teaching is in block form for 1 week in the first 3 semesters (3 weeks for the whole study period).
- In the last semester the participant solves an individual final project.

Who the study programme is intended for?
For candidates who want to train in cyber security or upgrade their qualifications. They can use the knowledge gained during their studies, for example:
- employees of national and multinational companies managing information and communication technologies,
- employees of state institutions,
- people interested in the field of cyber security.
Information about the organization
- The admission requirement is a university degree with at least a Bachelor's degree. Applicants without a university degree can complete their studies without obtaining an MSc degree. Each module will lead to an internationally recognised micro-certificate.
- The language of study is Czech.
- The study programme is planned for 4 semesters, i.e. two academic (school) years.
- Hybrid form of teaching: e-learning, present exercises in the laboratory, self-study, individual consultations.
- In the last semester the student solves an individual final project.
- The cost of the study is 178 000 CZK, the amount is VAT exempt.
- The laboratory classes will take place in a selected week in January and June.
