Mobile communication unit for vehicle with CAN bus connection

The functional sample of the vehicle communication unit with CAN bus connection will be able to receive authorised vehicle speed limit commands from the security forces via the ITS-G5 wireless communication network. The received command will be evaluated by the unit, i.e. it will verify that the sender is authorised to send these commands and also evaluate the integrity, the unit will then generate a command for the passenger vehicle control unit to limit the engine power or other technical response.
