xPON SimPack

The software created consists of a file whose source code is written in C ++ in the Eclipse development environment. The file contains code that allows simulation of the proposed optical network topology and captures its operation into output files that can be further analyzed by other tools such as Wireshark. Simulation parameters, such as client count and line load, can be dynamically changed, allowing for better tuning of the simulation to the real environment. Moreover, the simulation results in its real duration and thus it is possible to compare the time required depending on the network settings.
